Alright, ya crazy person, what the hell is "Eat Clean and Train like Choo-Choo"?!

I heard that!! Okay, I'm kidding. I promise I'm not a crazy person. So what is "Eat Clean and Train like Choo-Choo"? Well, to be honest, it's supposed to be catchy. I've been told that's how you should title a blog. HAH! But really. Eat Clean and Train like Choo-Choo is a movement that encourages people to make the best of what we have.
So, what do we have?!
We have our minds and our bodies.
Duh! So what?
So, what if I told you that I have discovered a formula that will fuel and enhance both our minds and our bodies!
Uh, Cool. What is it?
Glad you asked! First off, all living creatures require sustenance (bear with me). What we sustain our body with (our energy) has a direct impact on our actions (our energy expenditure) and vice-versa. That's not to say that if we eat a hamburger it will cause us to do the boogey-woogey (although it might, if it's really tasty). I mean that the food we consume will provide us with a certain amount of energy as well as number of different possible side effects (positive or negative). Most convenience foods contain high amounts of chemicals and preservatives. How does this affect our body and mind? Well, negatively (we will get into this later!) The first part of my formula to fuel and enhance one’s body and mind is eating healthy.
So what’s the second part?
While the fuel we use for our bodies and minds has an impact on our actions, our actions also have an impact on how we fuel our bodies. It is pretty common knowledge that those who do very little activity throughout the day simply require less fuel.
So why don’t we all just sit around doing very little and not eat a lot? It would save money on groceries!
Well, you could be a malnourished hermit if you’re really trying to save a few bucks, but that certainly is not the way to a stronger body and brighter mind! Engaging in physical activity not only encourages your body to fight off illness and disease, it also promotes the release of neurotransmitters and endorphins which result in a feeling of happiness (that’s right, your body LIKES moving around).
So my formula for fueling and enhancing one’s body and mind is a combination of healthy eating and physical activity! Okay, I’ll admit that I didn’t actually discover this… I’m just a strong believer in it! The only question now,
How do you eat healthy and stay active?

Welcome to my blog!
